Airline Quality Rating Identifies 2006 Performance Declines
Airline delays continued to frustrate passengers with on-time arrivals declining to 75.5% in 2006 compared to 77.3% in 2005. This, according to the 2007 Airline Quality Report released on April 2. For event planners, this is particularly frustrating because it creates transportation challenges that drive up program costs and decrease attendee satisfaction.
Based on criteria including on-time arrivals, baggage delays, denied boardings and complaints, the following identifies the top 5 airlines based on performance:
- Hawaiian
- Jet Blue
- Air Tran
- Frontier
- Northwest
