Your Event Planning Job Search: Meeting Assistant

This week I thought that I'd highlight available Meeting Assistant jobs. For anyone interested in learning the role of a meeting planner from the ground up, these are excellent positions. They are also challenging (but fun) administrative roles. Typical responsibilities include making arrangements for event space, food and transportation. Meeting Assistants also process invoices, prepare event materials (including name badges), and provide on-site support.

For those who are interested in pursuing new opportunities or exploring basic responsibilities and qualifications, searching current event planning job listings is an excellent way to understand and recognize job requirements within the field.
