Client Holiday Gift Ideas for Less Than $25

From Rob Hard, About.com GuideOctober 22, 2007

While some people are focused on Halloween next week, many event planners are being asked to identify corporate holiday appreciation gifts right now. And budget is a big factor.

That's because more organizations are putting a ceiling on how much money can be spent on client gifts at the holidays. There are two ways to view holiday gift ideas: branded (which includes the company logo) and unbranded (no logo).

What's interesting is that many organizations think they absolutely must include a logo on all items. That's not always the case. The most important factor is to identify items that the recipient will enjoy or practical items they can use.

Although I will leave it up to you to decide your budget, I thought that I'd share with you some unbranded holiday gift ideas that cost less than $25:

  • French Press (Coffee Maker)
  • Salt & Pepper Set
  • Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Thermometer
  • USB Flash Drive, and More

These are great ideas for corporate gifts, or even personal gifts. They will be appreciated by your clients and keep the boss happy about price tags at the same time.

Hi Rob,
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for telling companies that they do not have to put their logo on every employee gift they give! I think we have all had our share of awful corporate gifts and can attest that though we may love our job, we do not wish showcase it on everything we own. Thanks again!
