January Holidays and Special Events Calendar for 2010

From Rob Hard, About.com GuideJanuary 4, 2010

Welcome to the new decade. With the December holidays now behind us, January is a time to plan new programs and events. Many of you have told me that the event planning calendar is very useful, so beginning this month we will feature holidays and special events that you should know about for the month. Highlights for January include:

  • January 18 (Monday), Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

  • January 28 (Thursday), Berlin Six Day Race (bicycle competitions, through February 2)

Not familiar with meetings and events in Berlin? Check out our Berlin destination profile.

For those wanting to plan ahead, check out our 2010 Calendar of Holidays and Major Special Events which expands important dates in our calendar, highlighting international events and public holidays around the world.

Please send your suggestions for additional items to add to the calendar! Thanks.

Thanks for thinking of this. I could use a reminder every now and then.
