Time to Plan the Holiday Office Party

By October 29, 2012

Here is a friendly reminder to all of you in charge of holiday parties: The time to start planning is now! This is especially true if you haven't yet booked your venue because the key dates at popular destinations will be going fast in the coming weeks.

Now is also the time to begin thinking about how you will entertain your attendees. This is typically the hardest part of planning, so don't wait until the last minute to brainstorm ideas. Ideally you can make a list of options and then get feedback from a few of your co-workers. Consider this your "market research".

If you're starting from scratch or looking for a fresh perspective, then be sure to read this Fun List of Holiday Work Party Ideas.  Every group has a unique set of challenges when it comes to holiday parties, but don't forget that everyone is there to have fun. Keep them smiling and the rest will take care of itself!
