IMEX is a three day, worldwide show for meetings and incentive travel in Frankfort, Germany. Program activities include seminar sessions, exhibition (with scheduled appointments), networking events and the IMEX gala dinner.
Seminar topics include sessions for professional development, meeting technologies, marketing, green meetings and more. The program also includes a politicians', future leaders' and women's forums.
Several leading industry associations participate and contribute to the IMEX agenda, so that means this is one of the top professional conferences.
Associations include Meeting Professionals International, Destination Marketing Association International, Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), International Congress and Convention Association, and the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives.
IMEX is for corporate meetings and hospitality, incentive travel programs, association meetings, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, roadshows, product launches, promotional events and training programs.
About 3,400 exhibitors participate in the show from 150 countries. They include tourist offices, major hotel groups, airlines, destination management companies, service providers, trade associations and more.
About 8,300 visitors attend IMEX, including more than 3,500 hosted buyers from 57 world markets attend IMEX.
