The Program:
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) holds its World Education Congress each year in July or August in a different location within North America that includes education sessions focused on business, leadership and other career-development skills.
This program has a more international perspective than MPI's other two conferences (the Professional Education Conference-North America and the Professional Education Conference-Europe.)
Between 3,000 - 3,500 people from around the world attend WEC each year.
Why Attend:
The educational program at MPI World Congress includes presentations from about 100 experts who share their perspectives and knowledge.
The program offers about 125 sessions in total for all career levels. This includes tracks for small business owners, sales and marketing, straetgic meetings management, novice meeting professionals and senior meeting professionals.
The program includes opportunities for networking, as well as a trade show to interact with industry suppliers. This program is attended by about 60% suppliers and 40% planners.
