The National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) hosts an annual Educational Conference for on-premise caterers, off-premise caterers, event planners and industry vendors/suppliers. Industry experts present on variety of topics that are also relevant to event planners, such as:
- Wine and food paring
- Catering for experiential events
- Ethnic catering
Although caterers are the primary target for this event, event planners will learn about new trends and ideas that may be incorporated into their programs. Attendees will gain valuable insight into the planning and execution of food and beverage in an environment that includes networking, learning and professional development.
An association of almost 3000 members in 46 chapters in the United States and Canada, NACE promotes the professionalism of the catering industry. It was founded in 1958 and produces The Professional Caterer magazine.
