The Kardashian sisters ask the planners to organize a Mexican theme party for two friends who will be visiting Mexico for the first time. For event inspiration and research, the remaining event planner hopefuls go to a flea market to research traditional Mexican ideas for decor, theme and more. The party selected is a Mexican theme fiesta, including a Mariachi band, Mexican food, margaritas, pinatas and more with furniture and lighting on the beach. A special touch: offer guests a shoe check service upon arrival.
What could possibly go wrong?
- Jilina properly asked local vendors about traditional customs; Kinsey took credit for the successful ideas.
- Brett and Cori pitched a day of the dead theme (which is really meant for friends and family to gather and remember those who have passed away).
- Kinsey worked to undermine teammates behind their backs and criticizes everyone else's efforts.
- Furniture delivery did not include workers or instructions for beach-side delivery (planners manually carry furniture and items for two hours.
- Cori failed to provide detailed banquet event order with specific quantities of food and beverage, relying on the caterer to decide just how much to bring (caterer arrived without alcohol)..
- Tania maintained a poor attitude the whole day and is basically missing during most of the party; Tania fail to offer shoe check service upon arrival and had to request shoes beachside.
- Torches were delivered without canisters, so the planners couldn't provide mood lighting; however, the planners chose to keep the torches in view without lighting (they should have removed them).
- Poor lighting conditions caused lack of intimate environment for the guests (lighting can be used to bring people together and create a mood).
- Fire broke out on the buffet tables 15 minutes prior to the event (tables were cluttered with too many items and they caught on fire).
- Despite the fact that she didn't get eliminated, Kinsey acted way too emotional and displayed a complete lack of professional behavior in front of the clients and hosts.
